Tour Itinerary

Upon your arrival at NJP Railway station/Bagdogra airport you’ll be received by our tour representative who then drives you to Darjeeling; an idyllic hill station in the northern part of West Bengal. During British Raj, this hill station had been one of their fond summer capitals and the relics of the colonial era can still be traced in this picture-perfect hill station. On reaching check into hotel for dinner and night stay.

Day 2 is given entirely to Darjeeling sightseeing. Early morning we proceed to visualize the sun rise at Tiger hills. This is indeed an out-of-the-world experience. The snowy peak of the mighty Kanchenjunga acquires a magical beauty when struck by the golden-crimson rays of the rising sun. In the course of our return journey to hotel we visit the spots like Batasia Loop and Ghoom monastery. Post breakfast we proceed to visit the other sightseeing spots of Darjeeling such as Tenzing rock, PNZ Zoo, Tibetan refugee centre, Himalayan mountaineering institute and the famed Darjeeling tea estates. Post sightseeing we return to hotel. Towards the evening you could stroll your way to the mall and local market. Dinner and night stay at hotel.

Post breakfast we leave for another beautiful hill station; Kalimpong perched at an elevation of 4000ft above the sea level. Mesmerizing Himalayan views, bustling bazaars, misty hill slopes, colorful floral gardens, the roaring Teesta River, the towering Kanchenjunga summit all join together to conjure up the unique beauty of Kalimpong. On reaching check into hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Post breakfast we proceed for a sightseeing of Kalimpong. The places we cover on this sightseeing tour are Zong Dog Palri Fo-Brang Monastery on Durpin hill, Kalim temple, Pine view point, Jelapla view point, Dr Graham’s home, Delo point, Mangal Dham temple, Arts and Crafts centre of Kalimpong. Post sightseeing we return to hotel and later in the afternoon we hit the road for Gangtok, another marvelous hill station and Sikkim’s capital. The virgin natural beauty of Gangtok is marked by pellucid, peaceful lakes, luxuriant Alpine thickets, emerald grasslands and gurgling streams. On reaching check into hotel for dinner and night stay.

Post breakfast we make an excursion to the enchanting Tsomgo Lake, perched at an elevation of 12210ft above the sea level and to the revered Baba Mandir, a shrine built in remembrance of soldier Harbhajan Singh. Both these locations are nearly 50kms of drive away from Gangtok. These locations fall in vicinity to the Nathula Pass adjoining Indo-China border. Nathula pass marks the entrance to China and the pathway is often referred to as the ancient ‘silk route’ of India. You have full discretion to visit this pass provided there is sufficient time at hand. Post excursion we drive back to hotel in Gangtok and in the evening you may set out on your own to explore the local bazaars of Gangtok. Back to hotel for dinner and night stay.

Post breakfast you are transferred to NJP Station/Bagdogra airport where our representative bids you adieu and you proceed for your onward journey back home with lots of wonderful memories to be cherished lifelong.
