On your arrival at IXB Airport/NJP Station you’ll be greeted by our tour representative who then drives to Gangtok, capital of Sikkim perched at an elevation of 5480ft above the sea level. Reach Gangtok, check into hotel and rest for the remaining part of the day. Night stay at Gangtok hotel.
Post breakfast we set out for a local sightseeing tour of Gangtok. The places covered during the initial part of the tour are Tashi view point, Hanuman Tok and Ganesh Tok. These viewpoints offer 360 degree panoramic view of the Snow clad Himalayan range plus of the beautiful city of Gangtok. Next, we proceed to visit places like Rumtek monastery, Enchey monastery, Institute of Tibetology, Jhakri falls, Orchid house, Dodurl Chorten. Post sightseeing we return back to hotel and later in the evening you may stroll to MG Marg marketplace of Sikkim to shop souvenirs. Back to hotel for dinner and night stay.
Next day post breakfast we leave for an excursion of Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir, located at a distance of nearly 55kms from Gangtok city. Baba Mandir has been constructed to pay tribute to Harbhajan Singh; a soldier who lost his life at the Nathula pass. Tsomgo Lake is a beautiful Alpine lake that would leave you gaping at its crystalline beauty. Back to hotel at Gangtok for dinner and night stay.
Next morning post breakfast we leave for Lachen, another idyllic spot cradled at an elevation of 9400ft above the sea level. En route we visit the famed and sublime Seven Sisters Falls. On reaching Lachen check into hotel for dinner and night stay.
Next morning post breakfast we set out for Lachung en route the Gurudongmar Lake. This is one of the highest mountain lakes in the whole of the world and also in North Sikkim. The lake is perched at an elevation of 17000ft above the sea level and is believed to be a very holy lake especially by the Buddhist community. Post Gurudongmar visit, we head straight for Lachung and on reaching, check into hotel for dinner and night stay.
Post breakfast we make an excursion to Yumthang valley perched at an elevation of 11800ft above the sea level. The valley falls at a distance of 21kms from Lachung and is 1 and ½ hrs drive from Lachung. This picturesque valley covered with flower studded grassy plains would keep your camera busy all the time. We return to hotel in Lachung post Yumthang excursion. After few hours of rest, we depart for Gangtok again. On reaching check into hotel for dinner and night stay.
Next morning post breakfast you are transferred to IXB Airport or NJP Station where our representative sees you off and you proceed for your journey back home, thoroughly refreshed and rejuvenated.
