Darjeeling Sikkim Honeymoon Tour Package

The entire day is given to Darjeeling sightseeing. First we visit the famous Tiger hills even before day break to catch a glimpse of the rising sun over the magnificent Kanchenjunga. The golden sun rays conjure up a unique prismatic beauty as they shine across the glassy white snow capped peaks. On our way back to hotel we visit places like Ghoom monastery, Batasia loop and war memorial. Ghoom Monastery chief attraction is the magnificent statue of Maitreya Buddha and highly decorated Thanka scrolls. Batasiya loop is the loop-shaped toy train railway track and is beautifully interspersed by floral gardens. War memorial built to pay tribute to the Gorkha soldier martyrs too stands amid these gardens. On reaching hotel, you get to take your breakfast and then we proceed for the rest of the sightseeing of Darjeeling. In this second half sightseeing agenda we cover places like Padmaja Naidu zoological park, Tensing and Gombu rock, Tea estate, Peace pagoda, Himalayan mountaineering institute, Natural history museum, Tibetan refugee self help center. Back to hotel for dinner and night stay

Next day we make an excursion to Mirik; a mist clad romantic locale perched at an altitude of 1495m above the sea level. The profusion of Pine trees, fruit orchards, cardamom groves and lush tea gardens impart Mirik with a real enchanting scenic beauty. Sumendu Lake of Mirik is highly popular among the visitors to Mirik. You can enjoy a cozy horse ride with your partner around the lake or a romantic boat ride. On our return journey from Mirik, we drop at the famed Pashupati market for a while and you can shop some awesome foreign goods like cosmetics, clothes and electronics therein. After our visit of the Pashupati market, we drive straight to Darjeeling and check into hotel. Evening is left free for you to stroll on the streets of Darjeeling along with your partner; visit the bustling mall or the local market. Dinner and night stay at hotel.

Next day post breakfast we leave for Gangtok; the colorful capital city of Sikkim. The city has an alluring ambiance; is dotted with numerous holy monasteries and floral gardens and has a breathtaking natural beauty. On reaching, check into hotel. You can set out to explore the mall of Gangtok towards the evening. Back to hotel for dinner and night stay.

Next day after breakfast you are taken for a city tour of Gangtok. The places you get to visit in the course of this tour include Enchey monastery, Rumtek monastery, Ganesh tok, Hanuman tok, Banjhakri falls, Flower show, Directorate of handicrafts and handloom, Do-drul Chorten, Tashi view point and Research institute of Tibetology. Post sightseeing we return to hotel. Towards the evening, you could visit the local markets of Gangtok or the mall or even some of the popular discotheques of the city to pick a magical nightlife experience along with your partner. Back to hotel for dinner and night stay.

Next day after breakfast we head for our excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir. Tsomgo Lake, 39kms away from Gangtok, is a holy lake with a lord Shiva temple standing along its banks. Brahmini ducks plus numerous other migratory birds flock in large numbers along the lakeside. The tranquil ambiance by the lakeside gives you a congenial setting to enjoy some private moments along with your soul mate. Next, we visit the Baba Mandir; a shrine built in honor of soldier Harbhajan Singh. Harbhajan Singh had died in vicinity to Nathula pass but is still believed to be on-duty each night. He has acquired a saint-like status for soldiers rendering service at the remote borders. Post excursion we return back to hotel in Gangtok for dinner and night stay.

Post breakfast we depart for Siliguri. On reaching you are transferred to NJP Station/Bagdogra airport where our representative sees you off and you leave for your onward journey back home taking with you lots of love-filled moments from this tour.
